IMMIGRATION LAW SERVICES
We are dedicated to supporting immigrants and their families as they navigate the challenges of the U.S. immigration system. With a deep commitment to preparation, compassion, and zealous advocacy, our team works to protect our clients’ rights and help them achieve stability, safety, and opportunity.

Removal Proceedings
Facing removal proceedings can be overwhelming, but our firm is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the process with clarity, preparation, and compassion. We represent individuals in both non-detained and, when capacity allows, detained cases on a case-by-case basis. Our role includes reviewing the Notice to Appear, identifying all available forms of relief, and developing a clear legal strategy tailored to each client’s circumstances. We assist with the preparation and filing of applications such as asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and waivers when necessary. We also prepare clients thoroughly for master calendar hearings and individual hearings, including asylum merits hearings.

When representing clients in Immigration Court, we focus on strong, transparent communication and strategic advocacy. Our services include filing motions, presenting evidence, coordinating witness testimony, and ensuring clients understand every step of the process. We also represent clients in bond hearings (custody redetermination) and handle appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals when appropriate. Our goal is to help clients protect their rights, remain with their families, and pursue stability and safety in the United States.
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
SIJS is a critical form of protection for immigrant children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected by one or both parents. At our firm, we offer full representation from start to finish, guiding families through the state court process, the USCIS I-360 petition, and—even when necessary—coordination with Immigration Court proceedings. We help parents and guardians understand the importance of pursuing SIJS on time, especially because it can open the door for the child to obtain lawful permanent residence (a green card) in the future. Our team ensures that families understand each step of the process and the long-term benefits SIJS can provide for a child’s stability and safety in the United States.

We manage the complex coordination required between the state court (custody or guardianship proceedings with SIJS findings), USCIS, and, when applicable, EOIR. Our role includes preparing filings, attending hearings, presenting evidence to support the necessary findings, and monitoring the case through adjudication of the I-360. Once the priority date is current, we also assist with the adjustment of status application so the child can obtain lawful permanent residency. We proudly represent SIJS applicants across Maryland, the District of Columbia, and soon New Jersey (pending bar admission).

Asylum
Our firm represents clients in both affirmative asylum cases before the Asylum Office and defensive asylum cases in Immigration Court. We help individuals who fear persecution in their home countries based on political opinion, religion, family membership, LGBTQ+ identity, gender-based violence, gang-related threats, and other protected grounds. Because asylum law is complex and time-sensitive, we guide clients through every stage of the process, including preparing detailed declarations, gathering and translating evidence, compiling country conditions, and ensuring the application is filed within the required deadlines. We also counsel clients on the one-year filing rule and any exceptions that may apply.
For clients in removal proceedings, we provide comprehensive representation at master calendar hearings and individual (merits) hearings. Our attorneys prepare clients thoroughly for interviews and court appearances, and we develop strong, well-supported arguments to present to adjudicators. When appropriate, we also pursue related forms of protection, including withholding of removal and protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT). Throughout the process, we maintain clear communication and a supportive approach so clients understand their options and feel guided every step of the way.
Family Petitions
Family-based immigration allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to petition for certain relatives to obtain lawful status. Our firm represents anyone who is legally eligible to file a petition, including spouses, children, parents, and other qualifying family members. We guide clients through the entire process with compassion and clarity, ensuring that each case is thoroughly prepared with the necessary forms, evidence, and legal support. When waivers are required—such as I-601 or I-601A provisional waivers—we carefully evaluate eligibility, prepare the applications, and help clients understand how these waivers affect their immigration process.
Some family-based cases can be processed entirely within the United States through adjustment of status, while others must be completed through consular processing abroad. Our attorneys will evaluate your case and explain the best strategy based on your immigration history, relationship category, and eligibility. For consular cases, we prepare and submit the forms, collect and upload evidence, communicate with the National Visa Center (NVC), and guide clients through each step of the process. Although we do not attend interviews at consulates abroad, we ensure that clients are fully prepared and understand what to expect. Our goal is to bring families together and help them achieve stability and legal security in the United States.

U Visa
The U Visa provides protection for victims of certain crimes who have suffered physical or emotional harm and have cooperated, or are willing to cooperate, with law enforcement. Our firm provides comprehensive assistance throughout the U Visa process, beginning with obtaining the required Law Enforcement Certification (Form I-918B). We contact police departments, prosecutors, or other relevant agencies on behalf of our clients, prepare the necessary documentation, and submit formal certification requests. Our priority is to support victims with compassion and dignity while ensuring the legal requirements are met.
Once the certification is secured, we prepare and file the full U Visa petition, organize and translate evidence, and gather documentation that demonstrates the harm suffered and the client’s helpfulness to law enforcement. We also assist eligible family members who may qualify as derivative beneficiaries, ensuring that the entire family receives coordinated and thorough representation. Although policies can change, our role remains constant: to provide clear guidance, strong legal support, and a respectful approach as clients navigate one of the most important humanitarian protections in U.S. immigration law.
Naturalization
& Citizenship
Becoming a U.S. citizen is an important milestone, and our firm is committed to guiding clients through each step of the process with clarity, respect, and confidence. We evaluate eligibility for naturalization by reviewing residence and physical presence requirements, good moral character considerations, travel history, prior immigration filings, and any issues that may affect the case. We assist with preparing and filing the N-400 application, gathering and organizing supporting documents, and guiding clients through the process from start to finish. For individuals seeking proof of citizenship through a parent, we also help prepare and file the N-600.
We believe preparation is key to a successful naturalization process. Our team provides clients with study materials for the English and civics tests and conducts a practice (moot) interview to help them feel comfortable and confident before their USCIS appointment. If requested, we also attend interviews to offer support and ensure clients understand their rights throughout the process. Our goal is to make this meaningful transition into U.S. citizenship as smooth and empowering as possible.
